40 % discounted books will be offered during the literary – musical fiesta “Books by notes”
On the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of Colibri Publishers a true celebration of the book will be held on 21st and 22nd of August on the summer stage of Kino Cabana
at the National Palace of Culture
On 21st and 22nd of August (Saturday and Sunday) the summer stage of Kino Cabana at the National Palace of Culture will hold a two-day literary – musical celebration “Books by notes”. The occasion is the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of Colibri Publishers. The event will be held with the support of the municipal company Markets Vazrazhdane EAD.
During the literary fiesta the guests will listen to perfectly selected music, and in these two days the fans of Colibri Publishers will be able to buy books with 40 % discount.
The August 21st program includes a great number of meeting with autograph signing with favorite Bulgarian writers; market for exquisite hand-made accessories and souvenirs, inspired by literary characters and plots; performances of gifted young artists; entertaining mini-vinyl festival and DJ vinyl records party!
The August 22nd program features the author’s show for kids “A shop for notes”, following a script of Zdravka Kamenova, and directed by Mariya Banova. It is a wonderful poetic production, based on classical and modern children’s literary art works and famous movie scenes! Zdravka Kamenova and Yuliya Kolarova will participate, whose improvisation capabilities will entertain both the kids, as well their parents. A band will play live and an unbelievable party atmosphere is expected. The event starts at 16:00 o’clock.
The culmination of the two-day fiesta will come to fruition a little later on August 22nd. At exactly 20:00 o’clock the original literary – musical spectacle “Books by notes” will start. It is a magnificent symbiosis of literature, performance and music, in which each and every visitor will find a personal message. The spectacle’s director is Dimitar Stefanov, and the music is performed by Ginger Groove. The public favorites Filip Avramov, Petar Antonov, Petko Venelinov, Boyka Velkova, Avgustina-Kalina Petkova will be on the stage.
Readers from all generations and social groups will enjoy freely these artistic performances in strict compliance with the anti-epidemic measures. The Publishers promise good mood, plenty of surprises, magical gifts for the kids and refreshing beverages for the adults!
