“ZHENSKI PAZAR MARKET – TOURIST DESTINATION НА SOFIA“
Dragomir Dimitrov, Executive Director of municipal company „Vazrazhdane Markets“ EAD, presented in the “Serdika“ Gallery at Zhenski Pazar Market, the vision and initiative for the transformation of “Zhenski Pazar Market into a tourist destination of Sofia“. Six billboards within the Zhenski Pazar Market will present in Bulgarian and English, along with archival photos, the history and development of the largest marketplace in Sofia, which has preserved the vitality and diversity since the end of the 19th century and until now – the beginning of the 21st century.
“The objective of Company’s initiative is to present Zhenski Pazar Market as an attractive tourist destination in the central historic part of Sofia, in close proximity to the “Area of Tolerance“, said Dragomir Dimitrov, Executive Director of “Vazrazhdane Markets“ before representatives of travel agencies, tour guides, journalists and residents of the area. According to municipal company’s director, this initiative will result in the enrichment and development of the clientele and merchants on the market, which will ensure income sustainability and growth.
