The Zhenski Pazar Market and the Dimitar Petkov Market Will Be Regularly Disinfected and Prevention Avails are Provided to the Salesmen
The municipal association Pazari Vazrazhdane took the necessary measures for preventions and limitation of the spread of the Coronavirus on the territory of the sites, which it administers.
11th of March, 2020, Sofia The municipal association Pazari Vazrazhdane, which administers the Zhenski Pazar Market, Dimitar Petkov Market, and the Rotonda Square, took urgent measures for prevention and non-admission of the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 on the territory of the markets.
With an order, the executive director of the Association Mr. Dragomir Dimitrov decreed that disinfection should be performed on the open areas of the markets every evening after the end of the work day. To the salesmen, renters of sale areas on the territory of the market spaces are provided the necessary preventive tools – defensive masks, gloves, disinfection solutions based on alcohol.
The measures taken for prevention are in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health Care and the operational headquarters of the Capitals Municipality for prevention of the spread of the Coronavirus.
“I believe that if all of us keep good personal hygiene, avoid contact with ill people, disinfect the open areas of the markets every evening and the administrative buildings several times a day, that will help managing the spread of the virus. I think that the people who visit the markets should not be worried for their health, since with us, not only there is no gathering of many people at the same time, but customers as well as salesmen can keep the necessary distance between them while they shop or communicate” – specified Dragomir Dimitrov.
